Join Us At The Curve!

Hit a home run with your family and friends – take ’em out to the ballgame!

We’re headed to the ballpark on Friday August 1 @ 6pm for the Altoona Curve vs. Richmond’s Flying Squirrels.

The cost of a game ticket and pavilion picnic at the Altoona Curve Ballpark is normally $23 per adult and $18 for children, but the Valley of Altoona is sponsoring part of the cost so that you can get to watch the game and get a 2 hour buffet meal for just $5 per ticket!

This event is a way for the Valley to bring in new members. You are encouraged to bring along your non-member friends and family.

Buffet features: BBQ Ribs, Marinated Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Cole Slaw, Potato Chips, Baked Cookies and Beverages.

Tickets are limited and half are already sold! Even though the deadline is July 15th, sales end when the tickets run out. So, make your reservations and payment today!

Feast of the Paschal Lamb – April 6th at 3pm

The officers of the Altoona Chapter of Rose Croix will present “The Feast of the Paschal Lamb” in the AASR room at Jaffa Shrine on Sunday April 6, 2014 beginning at 3pm.  This beautiful and poignant presentation serves as a memorial service for the members of the Valley who passed on during the preceding year.  Full of symbolism, music and heartfelt words, this tribute to our departed and expression of the faith we have in the immortality of the soul is not to be missed.

A time of fellowship with light refreshments will follow the program.  Members, family, friends and the general public are cordially invited.
